Last Updated: July 5, 2025

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the securityexecutivebrief.com website (the "Service") operated by The Security Executive Brief ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Subscriptions

We offer two types of subscriptions to our newsletter:

  • Free Membership: By providing your email address, you can sign up for a Free Membership. This grants you access to a selection of our free articles and previews of our premium content.
  • Premium Membership: This is a paid subscription that grants you full access to all current and archived articles in our library, as well as the ability to post comments on articles.

Premium Memberships are offered on a monthly or yearly recurring basis.

  • Monthly subscriptions are billed at $25.00 USD per month.
  • Yearly subscriptions are billed at $250.00 USD per year.

2. Payments and Cancellations

Payments: All payments for Premium Memberships are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By providing a payment method, you agree that you are authorized to use the payment method and that you authorize us (through our payment processor) to charge your payment method for the total amount of your subscription fee.

Automatic Renewal: Your Premium Membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly). You authorize us to charge the applicable subscription fee for the next billing cycle to your chosen payment method.

Cancellations: You may cancel your Premium Membership at any time through your account settings page. The cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium content until the end of your billing period.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, including all articles, text, graphics, logos, and images (the "Content"), are the exclusive property of The Security Executive Brief and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

4. User Conduct and Comments

Premium Members are granted the ability to comment on articles. By posting comments, you agree to the following rules of conduct:

  • You will not post any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, harassing, or hateful.
  • You will not post spam, advertisements, or solicitations.
